Cupcake Decorating

This two hour session involves learning how to colour sugarpaste and roll it out to cut out a variety of decorations to use as cupcake toppers. While they dry, work in pairs to make, colour and pipe buttercream onto cupcakes and add the toppers. Each person takes away a box of 4 cupcakes. This session can be adapted to include a competitive element where the group is split into teams (for larger groups).

This three hour session involves working in pairs to bake a variety of cupcake flavours. While they bake, learn how to colour sugarpaste and roll it out to cut out a variety of decorations to use as cupcake toppers. While they dry, work in pairs again to make buttercream in flavours to match the cupcakes and pipe it onto the cupcakes before adding the toppers. Each person takes away a box of 6 cupcakes in a variety of flavours and designs.

Refreshments are provided at all sessions (as well as all the equipment and ingredients needed for the workshop) but groups are also welcome to bring their own drinks and snacks if they want to turn the event into more of an day out.
